I first came upon this sony advertisement in 2007. I fell in love at first sight. The song heartbeat by Jose Gonzales was a perfect combination with the beautiful image in the ad. It resurrected a sentimental feeling in me. In the beginning I thought it was done using CGI. When I found out that it was actually done with actual rubber balls bounced down the hills of San Francisco with the help of machines that vibrated the ground to keep them bouncing, I was awed and forever in love with the ad. From this ad on, I began to discover other great sony ads. However, none could surpass the feeling I have for this one. It's the best.
Everytime I feel bored, sad, depressed I watch this. It is so relaxing. It keeps me away from my worries. Maybe because it is so beautiful, I have to give a full concentration to appreciate its creativity, so I had to put everything aside when watching this, including worries. I had to watch it again and again until I m ok. It usually works.
